Extreme weather changes can cause stress in Phalaenopsis orchids. Even if the roots are healthy, the leaves may turn yellow. How to fix this: Remove yellowing leaves. Inspect the Phalaenopsis stem. If there is rot, cut it off at the rotting tip. Then, cover it with cambium ointment/liquid wax. Place it in a shady area. Maintain humidity and air circulation around the roots.
