Footage from the public unveiling of the A1E1 Independent by the British Army at Camberley in November 1926. It was deemed so secret that after driving past the crowds, it was kept in a special enclosure from which the press were to keep away. To emphasise its size it was accompanied by a swarm of tankettes, although in reality it was not too different in length and weight from a 1918 Mark V.
