Tens of thousands of bottles of one of the most prescribed drugs in the U.S. have been recalled. At least 140,000 bottles of atorvastatin, the generic version of Lipitor, have been recalled by the FDA and Ascend Laboratories, the company that distributes the medication in the U.S. In early October, the FDA announced the recalled pills may not properly dissolve in the body.
