McClung has won the Slam Dunk Contest in each of the past two years. McClung, who is represented by Greg Lawrence, appeared in 27 G League games with the Osceola Magic last season.

McClung won with four perfect 50-point scores on all of his dunks, including jumping over a car on his first dunk of the night. In addition, McClung became the first three-peat winner in the history of the event. Stephon Castle of the San Antonio Spurs finished second in the event.

Oct 6, 2022 · What exactly does Mac McClung have to do to make a roster? Averaged 20 and 6 in the G League on 48% and 40% from 3. I thought he looked very active on defense in the summer and the NBA preseason games. Obviously proved his athleticism is elite on any level.
