Mega Millions is one of America's two big jackpot games, and the only one with Match 5 prizes up to $5 million (with the optional Megaplier).

Mega Millions ® drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 pm ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70; one gold Mega Ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on one row of your ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date.

Mega Millions® tickets cost $2.00 per play. Players may pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers - five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 25 (the gold Mega Ball) - or select Easy Pick/Quick Pick. You win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing.

Sep 24, 2024 · Tyrone Fergerson, 53, matched the five white balls in the Sept. 24 drawing to win a $1 million prize: 01-06-10-23-27. Thanks to the Megaplier, his prize was multiplied to $5 million. He bought his winning ticket at the Chill Box Convenience Store, located at 29801 West 9 Mile Road in Farmington Hills.

A single ticket sold in California matched all six numbers drawn Friday night – the white balls 12, 35, 46, 48 and 69, plus the gold Mega Ball 23. The lucky ticket-holder wins the $22 million jackpot ($17.9 million cash). It’s the fourth Mega Millions jackpot won this year.
