Nebraskans are saying goodbye to a fallen hero with a procession and funeral service for trooper Kyle McAcy. His wife, Betsy Arakawa, was also found dead in their New Mexico home. Hackman, 95, and Arakawa, 64, were found deceased in their New Mexico home on Wednesday morning. They were married for 34 years.

Ahead of the funeral service in Ralston, trooper Kyle McAcy's casket was escorted from the Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home to the Liberty First Credit Union Arena. That procession included more than 75 law enforcement vehicles from several agencies.

Mourners paid their final respects to fallen Nebraska State Patrol Trooper Kyle McAcy on Thursday morning. At 8:30 a.m., traffic was closed off along the 3.5-mile route ahead of the funeral procession.
