Washington — President Trump is in Scotland for several days on a trip that will combine presidential and personal business.
President Donald Trump landed in Scotland Friday and promptly reignited his war on windmills. The president, who despises the wind farm next to his golf course near Aberdeen, once again raged against that form of renewable energy while on the tarmac at Glasgow Prestwick Airport.
The Scots are generally not fans of Mr. Trump, and protests are already planned. A group called “Stop Trump Scotland” said it is organizing a “festival of resistance” against Mr. Trump during the trip and has called on John Swinney, the first minister of Scotland, to decline to meet with him.
