(REUTERS) — Devon Energy said Monday that CEO Rick Muncrief, a U.S. shale industry veteran, will step down effective March 1, and hand over the reins to Chief Operating Officer Clay Gaspar.

Devon Energy (NYSE:DVN) said Monday that Rick Muncrief will retire as President and CEO, and as a board member, effective March 1, 2025, to be succeeded by current COO Clay Gaspar.
