A Russian woman who stowed away on a flight from New York to Paris last week is on her way back to the United States.

French officials tell ABC News that the woman who allegedly snuck onto a Delta Airlines international flight is a Russian national who did not have valid travel documents to enter the country.

Authorities in the United States have reviewed airport security footage as they continue to investigate how a woman sneaked on board a Delta Air Lines flight from New York to Paris without a ticket last Tuesday –– one of the busiest travel days of the year.

A passenger went through security screening but avoided identity and boarding pass checks before flying out of the United States, a T.S.A. representative said.

A woman who allegedly stowed away on a Delta Air Lines flight to Paris was filmed disrupting a return flight to New York after French officials denied her entry to the country.

A source says a woman who stowed away on a New York to Paris flight entered a security lane reserved for flight crews and was able to evade a standard ID check. While in custody on a return flight, a passenger says,
