Variety will honor "Emilia Pérez" director Jacques Audiard at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival with the Creative Impact in Directing Award. The award will be bestowed as part of Variety's annual 10 Directors to Watch and Creative Impact Awards brunch on January 4.

Timothée Chalamet's portrayal of Bob Dylan has earned him the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival Chairman's Award.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival is set to kick off on Jan. 2 with “Better Man,” directed by Michael Gracey, while the closing film on Jan. 12 will be “The Penguin Lessons,” directed by Peter Cattaneo.
