Heading into Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period, Notre Dame football looked like they were on the outside looking in for star linebacker Madden Faraimo. All signs pointed to the 6-foot, 3-inch and 230-pound elite prospect to signing with USC, as multiple crystal ball picks were made for the Trojans to win out his recruitment.

Faraimo is an outstanding inside linebacker with top notch size, athleticism and power. He's a highly instinctive player that plays the game with impressive speed and power. As a senior he racked up 113 tackles despite battling an injury all season.
