Kate Middleton's warm way with children was on full display at the National Portrait Gallery during a trip with schoolchildren, where a young fan didn't let go of her hand.

Princess Kate had the perfect response to Lily-Rose's adorable question, as she told the little girl, "Yes I am! I wanted to come and say hello to you and see your village, and what's going on here, and see this amazing factory," via the Daily Mail.

The Princess of Wales, 43, is continuing her gradual return to work following the end of her cancer treatment in October.

As a mom of three, Kate Middleton is used to juggling royal duties and multiple kids at once—and she put those skills to good use while accompanying some tiny students to the National Portrait Gallery in London on Feb. 4.

Six-year-old Prince Louis is most famous for pulling funny faces in front of the cameras, but the young royal has taken a turn on the other side of the camera for a new picture of his mom, Kate Middleton.

Just last month, Kate revealed she was in remission from cancer. “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead.
