The superintendent of Hugo Public Schools says five district employees have been placed on administrative leave following an allegation of misconduct.

The Oklahoma State Department of Education is investigating allegations of abuse at the Hugo School District, according to a press release sent out Saturday afternoon.

HUGO, Okla. (KXII) - Hugo Public Schools will switch to virtual learning this week due to an increase in student and staff illnesses. HUGO, Okla. (KXII) - Five Hugo Public Schools employees are under police investigation, the district said Friday. The district said they recently received an allegation of misconduct by five district employees, identified as two teachers for alleged misconduct and three paraprofessionals for failure to protect by Choctaw County Sheriff Terry Park.
