The Arizona Cardinals have missed more games due to injury than any other team in 2025. Now, their injuries could impact the outlook in 2026.
The Cardinals lost their seventh straight game on Sunday, falling 26-19 to the Atlanta Falcons, but that wasn't the most depressing part of the afternoon. Instead, it was non-contact injuries for rookie defensive lineman Walter Nolen III (knee) and cornerback Garrett Williams (Achilles tendon) that really put a damper on the mood.
The Cardinals scored just 3 points in the second half, and several players left the game with injuries in the Falcons' first win in Arizona in 24 years.
In the Arizona Cardinals ' 26-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons Sunday, 20 players participated in at least one of the 57 offensive snaps.
A loss from the Cardinals paired with wins by both the Titans and Patriots moved Arizona up to fifth on the NFL Draft board with two games to play.
