On Monday afternoon, the Seattle Seahawks made a trio of transactions. The team announced they signed defensive tackle Justin Rogers and rookie cornerback Kam Alexander, who went undrafted out of Oregon this year.

Tight end Noah Fant, who had 130 catches for 1,400 yards and 5 TDs in his three seasons with the Seahawks, has been released, saving almost $9 million in cap space.

NFL Media reports Fant had another $510,000 in per-game roster bonuses on the books for this season, so the release clears a total of $9 million in cash. Fant came over to Seattle as a part of the infamous Russell Wilson trade with the Denver Broncos,
