Fort Worth ISD says schools will operate on a regular schedule on Wednesday. Dallas ISD announced late Tuesday night that all of its schools will be open on Wednesday at their normal times. A blast of Arctic air will drop temperatures below freezing on Tuesday night,

Right now, many school districts are still waiting to make the call on classes this week. It’s not so much a concern for winter precipitation as it is for kids to be out in dangerous cold waiting for a bus.

With the arrival of an Arctic blast, the region could see the coldest air of the season Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. It expects wind chills in the area to dip into single digit in the metroplex.
