Former Chargers head coach emerges as leading candidate to become Saints defensive coordinator
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that former Chargers head coach Brandon Staley is a “leading candidate” to become New Orleans’ defensive coordinator on Moore’s staff. Staley was hired as Los Angeles’ head coach back in 2021 after overseeing the league’s best defense when he was the Rams’ defensive coordinator in 2020.
