Sheriffs along the U.S.-Mexico border often deal with illegal immigrants but say they need more federal resources.

First, Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham announced the state will continue to offer up more land to them for mass deportation facilities, stating that her office is identifying property to be ready for when the new administration takes office in January.

The state's land commissioner has already offered President-elect Donald Trump the use of a 1,400-acre ranch to house immigrants with removal orders.
