After firing their third coach in three years, the Suns' next -- and perhaps only -- move is trading the superstar whom owner Mat Ishbia acquired just hours after buying the team: Kevin Durant.

The Phoenix Suns have fired head coach Mike Budenholzer and Kevin Durant is expected to be moved after a disappointing season in which they failed to make the playoffs. The Knicks are expected to be among the teams potentially involved for Durant, although virtually every team in the NBA will likely reach out to Phoenix.

"Phoenix is expected to engage in trade conversations involving Durant," ESPN's Shams Charania wrote. "Multiple teams will seriously pursue Durant, who finished another stellar season, and the franchise is expected to work with Durant and his business partner and Boardroom CEO Rich Kleiman on the next landing spot for the future Hall of Famer."
