The Oregon Department of Justice filed a lawsuit on July 29 against the Trump administration, challenging the constitutionality of a provision in the federal budget reconciliation act that would stop Planned Parenthood from receiving federal Medicaid funds.

California’s suit contends that Trump’s signature tax law is unconstitutionally vague and requires states to violate Planned Parenthood’s First Amendment rights.

This marks the 35th lawsuit the state has filed against the Trump administration since Dan Rayfield entered office.
