The latest update to Nintendo Switch Online sees three classics from the Sega Genesis library joining the online service's game collections.

Three more Sega Genesis games have been added to the Nintendo Switch Online library: two classic platformers and a run-and-gun shmup.

Nintendo Switch Online has been a hard sell to Switch owners who don’t play online games. This is doubly true for the relatively pricey Expansion Pack, which had paltry offerings at launch. However, over time, these services have become juggernauts worth considering even if you aren’t into multiplayer.

For its November update, Nintendo adds a handful of Sega Genesis games to its Switch Online SNES catalog for nostalgic gamers.

Good Nintendo Switch deals are pretty hard to come by. For some reason, Nintendo just generally doesn't like to list their consoles, games, or accessories at steep discounts, even during big sales events.

Nintendo's next console still lacks some concrete details, but there's one piece of news that seems like a sign of things to come.
