Dr. Melina Kibbe will lead UTHealth Houston after spending four years at the University of Virginia and UVA Health.

Dr. Melina Kibbe was named in a letter of no confidence signed by more than 100 doctors and staffers at UVA Health.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is sending out 678 layoff notifications across the state this week in what it hopes will be the final round of job cuts planned since last February.
