COLLEGE STATION — Texas football left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. left the Longhorns ' game against Texas A&M in the first quarter with an apparent injury. While blocking one Texas A&M pass rusher, Banks was clipped from behind by another on a play that turned into a long scramble for quarterback Quinn Ewers.

Texas star left tackle Kelvin Banks did not come out with the team from the locker room at halftime, a potentially massive loss for the Longhorns going forward against rival Texas A&M. He emerged from the locker room in street clothes and wearing a walking booth midway through the third quarter.
