Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is hopeful that his current stint on the injured list is of the short-term variety, the All-Star told reporters.

Corbin Carroll has been diagnosed with a “chip fracture” in his left wrist, manager Torey Lovullo told Arizona Diamondbacks’ postgame host Todd Walsh. It’s unclear how long he’ll be out of action or whether there’s any consideration of surgery.
