The Warriors took the first game of the series on the road, but the Timberwolves took advantage of Stephen Curry’s absence to get into the win column in the second. Curry left Game 1 with a hamstring injury and is expected to be out for at least a week.

The Golden State Warriors play the first of two home games on Saturday night, as they resume their NBA Western Conference semifinal series with Game 3 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Based on the series schedule, the earliest Curry could feasibly return is Game 6 at Chase Center. Currently tied with the Timberwolves 1-1, that means the Warriors will need to win at least one of the next three games to push the matchup long enough to give Curry a chance to get back on the floor.
