SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Anthony Edwards shook both hands at his sides in celebration after knocking down his second consecutive 3-pointer over a 33-second span midway through the third quarter as the Minnesota Timberwolves took over and ran away from the Golden State Warriors.

Stephen Curry has been dealing with a hamstring strain that has kept him sidelined since Game 1 of the second round.

Anthony Edwards hit one of those shots that even stunned Golden State Warriors fans, who have seen countless heroic shots from Steph Curry.

He got ample support from Julius Randle, who had a game-high 31 points, and Rudy Gobert, who finished with a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds. When asked about the 23-year-old Edwards after the game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr was generous with his assessment.

The Golden State Warriors trail the Minnesota Timberwolves in their second-round matchup, and with Stephen Curry out for at least the next game, the Dubs could very easily fall into a 3-1 hole.
