Fortnite is coming to Windows devices with Qualcomm’s Arm-based Snapdragon chips later this year. Epic Games announced today that it’s teaming up with Qualcomm to add Windows on Snapdragon support for Easy Anti-Cheat, which will let the game be compatible with those devices.

Fortnite will be available on Arm-based Windows machines later this year. In a blog post, developer Epic Games said that it is working with Qualcomm to get the hugely popular game compatible with the new Windows architecture by offering Windows on Snapdragon support for Epic Online Services Anti-Cheat,

Ignoring one smaller market while gleefully supporting another, Epic Games have announced they're getting Fortnite along with Epic Online Services Anti-Cheat on Windows Arm.

Fortnite players would like to see Epic Games bring back two major features they feel are missing in Chapter 6 of the popular battle royale.

One by one, the barriers to gaming bliss on Snapdragon laptops are falling. Back in November, a new build of Windows brought support for Intel's Advanced Vector Extensions to the Prism emulator that is used to translate x86-64 program code into Armv8 instructions that the Snapdragon CPUs can execute.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips have helped lead the market for laptops with epically long battery life, but they’ve had a key weakness: games. To help address this, Qualcomm said Thursday that it will enable the hit multiplayer game Fortnite to run on Snapdragon,
