The Chicago Cubs denied a report from their flagship radio station that the 2027 All-Star Game was coming to Wrigley Field, telling the Tribune “no decision has been made.” WSCR-AM 670 reported Thursday that MLB has awarded the game to the Cubs,

The Chicago Cubs today activated righthander Ryan Brasier from the 15-day injured list. To make room for Brasier on the 26-man active roster, righthander Ethan Roberts has been optioned to Triple-A Iowa.

Hoerner recorded the first hit off Greene in the third with a softly hit double to left, but Greene retired the next batter and struck out Ian Happ to end the inning. Greene averaged 100 mph on his 48 four-seam fastballs and looked sharp until the two walks in the fourth.
