By John Irish, Humeyra Pamuk and Maya Gebeily PARIS/WASHINGTON/BEIRUT (Reuters) - The ceasefire deal that ended a relentless barrage of Israeli airstrikes and led Lebanon into a shaky peace took shape over weeks of talks and was uncertain until the final hours.

In south Lebanon, Hezbollah's yellow flag fluttered atop a vast pile of rubble that was once part of Nabatieh's old market. In eastern Lebanon, rubble also marks the spot where a historic building once stood near Baalbek's ancient ruins.

Israel and Lebanon traded accusations of violating a cease-fire deal that’s brought more than a year of fighting to a halt, though the truce with Hezbollah appeared to be holding.

Israel said it had targeted militants headed to a rocket facility, but neither Israel nor Hezbollah seemed keen to immediately return to full-scale fighting.
