Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong announces a partnership with AI search engine Perplexity to integrate crypto market data and explore AI-powered trading features.

Coinbase Global (COIN) has partnered with web search engine Perplexity AI to power real-time crypto market insights, giving traders a new way to analyze price action in an artificial intelligence interface.

Perplexity’s Max plan with unlimited Labs, early access to features like Comet, top AI models, and priority support for power users.

Dan Ives of Wedbush Securities said it’s clear Apple is incapable of producing its own AI in-house, despite a company culture that strives to build superior products internally. In recent days, some of Apple’s top AI talent has also been poached by increasingly aggressive AI talent recruiter Meta, Bloomberg reported.

Along with their lower-priced base models, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini have all revealed top-of-the-line plans, costing hundreds of dollars a month. Now, Perplexity has joined in too, revealing its Perplexity Max plan with a monthly price tag of $200.
