There wasn’t much to shake up at the top of the latest College Football Playoff rankings, but a quality win for Georgia helped their postseason case while a dominant victory for Alabama provided a chance to rise in the newest Top 25 released Tuesday night.

The fifth and penultimate edition of the College Football Playoff Rankings were released Tuesday night with undefeated Oregon maintaining its spot at No. 1 as has been the case in every set of rankings during this initial year of the expanded 12-team field.

Oregon remained No. 1 in the penultimate Top 25, followed by No. 2 Texas, No. 3 Penn State, No. 4 Notre Dame and No. 5 Georgia.
