Reigning WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson's production has been down some this season thanks in large part to the Las Vegas Aces star shooting below her normal efficiency.

A'ja Wilson scored 22 points and became the fastest player in WNBA history to 5,000 points as the Las Vegas Aces beat the Connecticut Sun 85-59 on Wednesday night. Wilson made a driving left-hand layup with about four minutes left in the first quarter to top the 5,

Jackie Young scored 20 points, Chelsea Gray had 15 and Jewell Lloyd added 13 as the Aces (7-7) scored the first 19 points of the game and went on to win for the second consecutive time following a season-long three-game losing streak. Wilson and Young added eight rebounds apiece.
