GILMER — Union Grove High School student Danica Jo Vestal has always aspired to be the queen of the East Texas Yamboree. On Friday, after two weeks of dawn-to-dusk fundraising, her wish came true.

Danica Jo Vestal represents the Rotary Club, and attends Union Grove High School, where she participates in the National Honor Society and FFA.
