Starting in 2031 the Chiefs will play in Wyandotte County in Kansas, City, Kan., and the stadium will be surrounded by an entertainment district.
The Chiefs have agreed to move from Missouri to the Sunflower State in 2031, when they are expected to play in a new domed stadium in Wyandotte County, owner Clark Hunt announced in a letter to fans on Monday.
City and county leaders said Monday that they hope the Chiefs keep an Arrowhead remodel in mind if the Kansas stadium funding deal were to fail.
