Graham Potter remains confident on World Cup mission after landing Sweden job
Graham Potter is back in management after accepting a short-term role as the Sweden national team boss. The 50-year-old was sacked by West Ham United in September after winning just one of his first five Premier League games of the 2025/26 season.
Sweden have struggled in their current World Cup qualifying campaign and sacked coach Jon Dahl Tomasson last week after back-to-back defeats to Kosovo. Potter has penned a short-term deal to take over as boss for the remaining qualifying matches against Switzerland and Slovenia as well as a potential play-off on March.
