Last Saturday’s show was full of star-studded cameos, as former cast member Poehler brought back fellow SNL alumni Tina Fey and Seth Meyers throughout the episode. Fey also made a cameo to impersonate Kristi Noem in the cold open, while Poehler portrayed Pam Bondi.

Romantic party crasher Domingo, a character played by Marcello Hernández, made his return as Sabrina Carpenter hosted.

Saturday Night Live's Bowen Yang will miss tonight's taping of the late-night sketch show, the comedian and actor confirmed on his Instagram Story.

Despite his absence from the live show, Bowen had been working on the writing and pre-taped part of SNL. For the fans who might not know, his absence on the NBC show was due to his appearance at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures gala. He's set to accept the Vantage Award at the ceremony.

The show takes a break next week and returns on Nov. 1 with Miles Teller as host and Brandi Carlile as the musical guest, and on Nov. 8, a real treat when Nikki Glaser - who killed when she hosted this year's Golden Globes - handles those duties on SNL .
