Jon Stewart has extended his 'Daily Show' contract for another year amid the mounting criticism toward Paramount following its settlement with Donald Trump and Colbert's own cancellation.
Stewart sat down with The New Yorker editor David Remnick on Sunday night as part of the 26th annual New Yorker Festival.
Stewart has closed another one-year deal to remain as one of the hosts and exec producers of The Daily Show through the end of next year.
