Two schools on busy state roads in Limestone County will soon have school zone flashing lights for the first time.

The Gaston School District has announced that a JSHS teacher has been placed on administrative leave after receiving reports of alleged misconduct.

Grant funding for a collaboration between Union County Public Schools, Gaston County Schools and UNC Charlotte was also slashed.
