ROME, Ga. — President Donald Trump arrived in northwest Georgia on Thursday aboard Air Force One, ahead of planned remarks to supporters at a local steel business in Rome. The White House previously said he would promote his economic record during his trip to the Peach State.

President Trump delivered a speech in Georgia on a visit billed as focusing on his administration’s efforts to lower consumer prices. He promoted his tariff policies and complained about legal challenges to his authority to impose the import taxes,
