A woman was killed and another was injured after a shooting at a hotel in the River North neighborhood Saturday night, according to Chicago Police. Officers responded to a person shot on the 300 block of West Grand Avenue around 8:15 and found a 29-year-old woman in a hotel lobby with a gunshot wound to her neck.

Police say a man on pretrial release in a gun case shot and wounded a woman Saturday night in the lobby of a hotel and apartment complex in the 300 block of West Grand Avenue. Officers later found a 32-year-old woman fatally shot in a room on the 30th floor.
