Nathan MacKinnon posted two goals and an assist to help the Avalanche beat the New Jersey Devils 5-1 on Pride Night at Ball Arena on Wednesday. Martin Necas recorded three assists, while Artturi Lehkonen, Casey Mittelstadt and Logan O'Connor each scored a goal. In net for Colorado, Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 22 of the 23 shots he faced.
The Colorado Avalanche are finally back home on Wednesday after most of the team got some much-needed rest during the Four Nations Faceoff break. Wednesday's game kicks off a six-game homestand, then the Avalanche will head back on the road on March 11th.
