Duke head coach Jon Scheyer says associate head coach Jai Lucas is “absolutely” a “head coach” amid the news that he has been tabbed as the next head coach at Miami. Following No. 3 Duke’s 110-67 rout of Illinois at Madison Square Garden Scheyer was asked by NJ Advance Media if Lucas is ready to be a head coach.

In the first half, senior Ross Robertson had 21 points, finished the game with 28 points total, and passed current  Duke University Head Coach and Glenbrook North legend, 2002-06,  Jon Scheyer for fourth all-time in the state of Illinois.
