A federal workers union expects a total of at least 1,378 federal employees in Alaska with probationary status to be fired by the Trump administration.
Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy said in a Fox News interview that the Last Frontier can be first in helping the nation move forward on multiple fronts, including energy independence.
President Trump signed an executive order unlocking the “bounty of natural wealth” in Alaska, from oil and gas to minerals and even timber.
Those recent federal orders come from President Donald Trump, who’s put diversity, equity and inclusion policies squarely in his crosshairs.
The race is meant to commemorate and celebrate the history of Alaska and the critical part that sled dogs have played in the settlement of the state.
