A weak earthquake occurred in Georgia early Tuesday morning, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed.
A preliminary 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the Northern California coast Wednesday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The Tuesday evening earthquake rattled middle Georgia roughly 10 hours after a 2.6 earthquake in northwest Georgia in Chattooga County. Although it was a shallow earthquake, there were a few reports of shaking or damage, both in Georgia and northeast Alabama, according to the USGS Shakemap.
Did you feel it? A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck 18 kilometers north of Cabazon Saturday afternoon, according to USGS. The quake was reported at 2:46 p.m. in the San Bernardino Mountains. An interactive map shows the epicenter of the earthquake was between Big Bear City and Cabazon.
