U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday he "would love" to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un while traveling in Asia this week, adding that he would be willing to extend his trip to South Korea if Kim agrees to talks.
President Trump has said he hopes the North Korean leader will reach out so they can meet again. But there has been no public response from Mr. Kim.

“I had a great relationship with him,” Trump said, although there is no confirmation that there would be a repeat of their last encounter at the Korean border village of Panmunjom in June 2019. Newsweek has contacted the White House for comment.
