You’ve heard the names Emeka Egbuka and Matthew Golden mocked to the Green Bay Packers. Here’s a fresh name to consider with their first-round pick.

The Green Bay Packers have famously not taken a wide receiver in the first round since 2002, when Javon Walker out of Florida State became the pick at No. 20. Most mock NFL drafts have recognized this trend and given the Packers defensive players. But that may be shifting.

The Packers’ top three positions of need entering the 2025 NFL Draft are rather evident. They need, in no particular order, at least one wide receiver, pass rusher (interior or edge) and cornerback (assuming Jaire Alexander doesn’t return).
