Just days after Shannon Manigault resigned, a new head of the Atlanta Inspector General's Office has been named.

Shannon Manigault, the previous inspector general, resigned after the City Council claimed that the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) issued subpoenas that violated Georgia code.

Judge Ladawn "LBJ" Blackett has been appointed to oversee the office while the city works to establish a permanent replacement.
