Ousted Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina launched a scathing attack on interim leader Muhammad Yunus, saying he is involved in ‘genocide’ and killing of minorities including Hindus.

The 84-year-old Nobel laureate, in an interview with Nikkei Asia, said, "We need comprehensive reforms in the economy, governance, bureaucracy and judiciary (before holding elections)."

Yunus said in the interview Bangladesh's interim government has established several commissions for reforms in the electoral system, constitution and judiciary.
