Paramount+ has renewed its high-profile crime drama “ MobLand ” for Season 2, Variety has learned. The series originally debuted on the streamer in March, with the Season 1 finale airing June 1. The show has spent six weeks on the Nielsen Top 10 Original Series chart, with the most recent data being available for the week of May 19 – May 25.

There is no official release date for season 2 of “MobLand” just yet, but it seems likely that the series will return in 2026. Production for season 1 began in November 2024, just four months before “MobLand” premiered in March. That suggests that there could be a similarly quick turnaround time for season 2.

The second most popular Paramount+ show of all time has officially, finally, been green-lit for a second season. After a massive Season 1 cliffhanger, the English mafia show MobLand will return for at least one more season.
