Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen says he was denied entry into the El Salvador prison where Kilmar Abrego Garcia is being held.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen said Thursday he was denied entry to a maximum-security prison in El Salvador when he tried to check on the “health and wellbeing” of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia.

A federal court rejected a DOJ bid to block the return of Maryland illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador, warning the Trump administration must not override due process or rule of law.
